I don't know why I bothered to take pictures though. Yours are just beautiful!
I loved the steam. I was stuck in a cloud all the way UP Vesuvius, but it was sunny all the way down (and twice as quick, coz I just basically slid the whole way down!).
We also went to Sicily and saw Etna. And THAT was smoking. Like, trails of smoke accross the sky. Not scary, just very unusual to my eyes!
