Hehe, just like I'm on a Temeraire rampage. But perhaps I will read the BT trilogy once again, in a couple of months. I must admit I hated P'S G at first read, I might not hate it so much at second read.
Yes, Nat is in the Bartimaeus books. I advise you to read them (or at least the first two), because my next fanfic will be based on the first two books in the Bartimaeus trilogy. A completely Nathaniel-centered fic. 'Cause I love him
Do you think Stroud would write another trilogy set in the Bartimaeus universe? I wouldn't mind a Kitty trilogy in which it turns out that Nat didn't die just was transported to The Other Place and Kitty and he would meet again... (sorry, just read a fic like that...)
Don't worry about not being an A/H shipper, only about the half of the AF fandom is shipping A/H, the rest doesn't. You belong to the other half
A/H is definitely a cute couple. Actually, the only couple I find 'sensible' within the AF fandom. Arty/Juliet for example is quite ridiculous, IMHO. Holly/Trouble is simply boring, Holly/Root is somewhat perverted (he could be her father!) and Holly/Foaly is VERY perverted. That leaves A/H.
I will have to check out the Bartimaeus trilogy, since I am such a fan of Arty & Harry. & I trust your taste. As usually I love your rendition of Artemis...which leaves me craving MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cartoony style is great as always, but what I really love is how Natty and Arty (2 of my favorite boys) are in the same pic! I wonder what they'll think of each other.. Maybe: 'Not another sleazy businessman/politician.."
Thanks. I think Nat and Arty wouldn't like each other much because they resemble too much, personality-wise. As a Hungarians saying goes 'two bagpipers can't fit into one pub'. They'd drive each other crazy for sure if locked into the same room or something
oooh i've gone into the historical romance section of bookstores now >o<!! i like the YA books for an easy read but lots of times they are easy to figure out. now HP has twisted turns so it's harder so i love it ^^
Ah, I see. Well, Stroud's Bartimaeus trilogy is far from 'easy to figure out'. It's twisted and MORE EXCITING THAN THE LAST TWO HP BOOKS. No kidding. OotP and HBP bored me to pieces. Stroud's books I couldn't put down until I finished them. They're so much better. I'd say they're better than PS/SS and CoS too, only PoA and GoF beat them.
